Oxford Artweeks exhibition
I took part in the Magdalen Road Studios Artweeks exhibition. My work was based on quick portrait drawings done during sessions run by Drawing is Free, a free, weekly event at which artist from all over the world come together via Zoom to draw portraits of each other. The event embodies my interests in that it entails freely given cooperation among people to work, providing everyone with opportunities to draw and by part of a community.
Entwined
I took part in a group exhibition at Magdalen Road Studios, inspired by the In Bloom exhibition at the Ashmolean. My drawing was based on a photograph from a collection called the Wild Flowers of Palestine taken by a group called the American Colony of Jerusalem in the early 1900s and now digitised by the US Library of Congress (information here). It symbolises colonialism that these lands have been subjected to for centuries, but also the ability for beauty to survive in spite of the inhospitable environment.

Call & Response
Call & Response was an exhibition by a group of members of art-sauce, who met over several months to share works in progress. The final results reflected a process of mutual influence.

Magdalen Road Studios
I was in my studio 11:00am-6:00pm on Saturday, 3rd May. The exhibition of work by studio artists was open 3-11 May.
Artist’s Talk

Portable Collective in Germany
I will be exhibiting with Portable Collective in Cologne from 26 October to 30 November. The exhibition is being held at Landmann 31.
Packaging
I will be exhibiting in an exhibition on the theme of Packaging with a group of Oxford artists in Bonn from 27 October until 9 November. The venue is at artroom BBK Bonn, Windmühlenstraße 9, 53111 Bonn.
Oxford Art Society Open Exhibition
One of my drawings was accepted by the Oxford Art Society for inclusion in their Open Exhibition. It was on show at the Kendrew Barn, St John’s College, Oxford until 5 October.
BOx Exhibition
I participated in an exhibition of a collaboration between groups of artists in Oxford and Bonn (one of Oxford’s twin cities). The exhibition will take place at OVADA on the 20-21 September.
Pecha Kucha
I participated in a Pecha Kucha evening at Stroud Valleys Artspace on 3 September.
Crypt Residency
